This is Zambi. He is an inmoov class humanoid robot. Zambi is my attempt at building an artificial intelligence (AI) Robot. I had estimated this would be a 10 year project. It now seems it a lifetime adventure. His entire structure will be 3D printed. So far he is capable of head movement and limited speech, vision, and hearing. At this point he is not capable of intelligence beyond minor self diagnostics. I am concentrating on building his structure at this time. As with most research and development its usually two steps forward and one backwards. I am constantly building other more simple robots. The knowledge gained from my research with them is used to develop Zambi.

This is a simple 3D printed robot I build. It is fully self contained and programable. I practice teaching it dance moves to learn how to coordinate Zambi’s many movements.

This little robot is self contained and programable. it has a proximity Sensor which along with Zambi’s vision could be used to increase his position awareness.

This is a six axis arm robot. They are used in production, surgery, or any job where precision movements are critical. This one I 3D printed is not suited for precision applications but it was a lot of fun to build and preform many task. A great programing experience.

This is a 4 axis arm robot. I build this one for fun. Its a great little bot to perform task like Stacking blocks or putting marbles in a jar. I trained this one to open a box. place blocks neatly inside and close the lid.

Its my hope that my research with these and other bots will give the me the experience and knowledge to make Zambi a better AI life form.
